“In the end, nobody will remember how much you owned, how loudly you spoke, or how many people you impressed. They will remember the lives you touched, the hearts you healed, and the kindness you left behind. ❤️”

Biography

My name is Emodu Fortune Ochuwa. My journey has been a collection of simple moments, experiences, dreams, and lessons that have gradually shaped the woman I am today.

I attended Auchi Polytechnic Secondary School, where I completed my secondary education in 2015. My secondary school years were relatively quiet, and I wasn't very involved in extracurricular activities. Still, those years gave me memories, friendships, classroom experiences, and lessons that became part of my journey.

I have always had a love for communication, and that passion influenced my decision to study Mass Communication. Growing up, I dreamed of becoming a presenter, and I eventually had the opportunity to experience that dream for a short period. Though it was brief, it was a meaningful chapter that allowed me to explore something I had always loved.

After my studies, I served in Makurdi at the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) during my NYSC service. That experience exposed me to a new environment, new responsibilities, and another stage of personal growth.

Today, I work as an Administrative Officer. Looking back, I realize that my journey has not been defined by one dramatic moment, but by many small experiences—the choices I made, the dreams I pursued, the places I have been, the people I have met, and the lessons life has taught me along the way.

My story is still being written. I am grateful for where I have been, appreciative of how far I have come, and hopeful for everything that is still ahead. ❤️

Favourite Memories

  1. I can still picture myself sitting in that classroom, surrounded by the familiar sound of pages turning and the occasional whispers from classmates, while Mrs. Imoode brought Purple Hibiscus to life. It never felt like we were simply studying a novel. With every chapter she explained, every character she described, and every emotion she drew out of the story, it felt as though we were right there with Kambili—watching, feeling, questioning, and living through every moment. I remember how those Literature-in-English classes made time seem to disappear. We came to class to learn, but somehow, we left carrying pieces of the story with us. Purple Hibiscus became my favorite novel, and even now, whenever I think about it, I am transported back to that classroom—to those lessons, those pages, those quiet moments of imagination, and Mrs. Imoode’s voice giving life to a story I would never forget. Some books you read. Some books become memories. Purple Hibiscus became both. ❤️📖
