Biography
My journey began at APSS, where I initially dreamed of becoming a medical doctor. However, during my JAMB preparation, my interests gradually shifted toward engineering. I eventually pursued Mechanical Engineering at the University of Benin, where I successfully graduated.
Today, I am proud and happy to be practicing as a Mechanical Engineer, particularly in a refinery environment where I have the opportunity to see, understand, and work with real industrial equipment. Being able to connect the theories I learned in school with how equipment actually functions and operates in a real plant has made my engineering journey both exciting and fulfilling.
Favourite Memories
- Being recognized by Mr. Ikpotoki as one of the students who performed exceptionally well in Chemistry.
- Having Mr. Inhenye, my Mathematics teacher, acknowledge my effort after I became the only male student to score an A in Mathematics that term.
- Being the only student in SS2 who offered Computer Science with Mrs. Campbell.
- And, of course, witnessing the many fights that happened around the school and our set from SS1 onward. I saw quite a few of them, but I was always a spectator and never a participant.😀
